Established in 1983 by Mr V M Thomas as Thomas and Sons. The bakery is still family owned and is currently run by siblings Brian and Helen.

The local bread maker, or bakers, is one of the few industries that the Supermarkets can’t get rid of, much to their disdain.

As well as daily baking on the premises, we carry out deliveries to cafes, hospitals, pubs, golf clubs, bars, delicatessens, we also operate sandwich rounds and we can provide a tailored service to suit your needs.

As a family business we are extremely flexible in our approach to customer requirements, both Trade & Retail. One speciality recipe is Cholla bread, which serves a large Jewish community.

Like many other bakers around the country, Thomas the Bakers has in fact gone from strength to strength. Using traditional recipes, handed down over the years, we have gained an enviable reputation that no supermarket can compete with.
