Emergency Exit Arts runs a large and varied programme and has become one of the UK's leading street arts companies producing unique celebratory events and community based projects. The company also manages the Bollywood Brass Band and Crocodile Style street band.

In 1991 EEA was incorporated as a limited company and registered as a charity. Since 1987 the company has been based at Rothbury Hall in Azof Street, Greenwich. The premises consist of office spaces, a small meeting room, workshop space and a yard. EEA also rents industrial storage facilities to store equipment for its activities.
