The Idea...

The idea for Tinytotsaway came to us as we were standing in a queue at the airport, and observed that parents of babies and toddlers were weighed down with excessive baggage when travelling. We remembered with dread what it was like to travel with small children. With increasingly tight luggage restrictions, increasing costs of excess baggage and no luggage allowance at all for children under the age of two years, we hope to `lighten the load` for families.

Our mission is to make your travel with babies and infants easier, by providing you with a one stop ordering service for all your baby and toddler needs, and to ship them to your holiday destination in time to coincide with your arrival.

No more worrying about the local supermarkets stocking your infant's favourite branded baby food, milk, nappies and toiletries or breaking your back carrying everything.

Why set up Tinytotsaway?

As a nurse and health visitor for the past 26 years I have an enormous amount of experience and knowledge about families and small children.

Many of the most frequently asked questions by parents attending my baby clinic were about travelling with a baby both in the UK and increasingly abroad. Parents were concerned about taking their baby supplies with them - what if their luggage got lost? Would the local shops stock their baby's favourite food? We know that most areas have some brands of baby food and milk but would it be the brand their baby was used to?

What did they need to take to sterilise bottles and make up feeds abroad? What water could they use to make up feeds? And so on...

With this in mind, Tinytotsaway was set up to help and support families travelling with their baby with the minimum disruption to their baby's routine.
